Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this for?

People who've already planned a trip and want to spend less on it. You've picked where you're going, roughly when, and what you want to do there. Maybe you've booked some of it. What you want now is a second pair of eyes on the cost: someone to go through the flights, rooms, transport, and activities and find a cheaper way to do the same trip. It works best for solo travelers, couples, and small groups who plan their own trips, and it works best when there's still some room to move on dates or bookings.

Who isn't this for?

I'll turn you down if everything's already booked and non-refundable, or you're leaving in under three weeks with flights locked in. I'd rather say no than take your money for a report that says sorry. The form above checks all of this before you pay anything.

What do you specialize in?

Solo travelers, couples, and small groups of friends or family, on trips they've planned themselves. The places I know best are the United States, especially the national parks, plus New Zealand, Costa Rica, and Disney World. That's where I've done the most digging and where I'll find the most. I'm happy to take on other places and countries too, and the same approach works anywhere. If you're not sure, ask.

Do you book anything?

No. I tell you what to change and give you the links. You book it yourself, with your own accounts and your own card.

How do you get paid?

Only this fee. No commission, no affiliate links, no kickbacks from airlines, hotels, or card companies. If I recommend a card, it's because it gets you the trip, and I get nothing for it.

What if you can't save me anything?

Then you don't pay. If I go through your trip and can't find a single change that saves you money, I refund the fee in full. It hasn't happened yet, but that's the deal.

How does the video call work?

It's part of the $99 review. When I send your report, I include a link to book 15 minutes with me on a day that suits you. We go through the changes together, you ask whatever you like, and afterwards I send a final version with anything we decided on the call.

What format should my itinerary be in?

Any. Screenshots, a Google Doc, a Notion page, a paragraph from your Notes app, forwarded confirmation emails. I'd rather read a mess than have you retype it into a template.

Are you a travel agent?

No. I'm not licensed, I don't hold anyone's money, and I don't sell travel. I'm one person who's good at this and charges a small fee to do it for you.

Will the price stay the same?

No. This is my starting price while I build up reviews, and it will go up. If you buy now, your price stays yours for any trip you send me later.

What's your refund policy?

Full refund if I decline your trip after payment, if I miss the 48-hour turnaround, or if I can't find you any savings at all. Once you've received the review, it's yours and the fee is final. The terms say the same thing in slightly more words.

What do you do with my itinerary?

I read it, write your review, and keep it for 90 days in case you have questions. Then I delete it. I don't share it with anyone.
